| The building dating back to 1653 is one of the most important monuments of amsterdam. the covering of the inner courtyard as central entrance area forms the starting point for the design. all public functions are accessable from there. orientation and routing should be more clear for the visitor. the interventions are reserved to enhance the original character of the building. | |||
